The site includes 135 acres of former shipyard on Mersey waterfront opposite Liverpool city centre. The site lies immediately south of the Mersey Tunnel.

DMD are preparing a visioning masterplan, which will recreate the site in a new urban structure and form, as a vibrant mixed use waterfront area connecting back and serving the Birkenhead area.
